I must admit, this color challenge is a bit out of my comfort zone–I tend to go for the brighter, happier colors.  But, I will concede that I really like how my card came out and I will probably have to re-think these colors together in the future!  Especially after I saw the amazing projects that our Design Team came up with!  Click on the Challenge Graphic to see them–and I hope you'll participate with us as well!

The Largest flower is Very vanilla–I carefully curled each petal up (be careful they rip off easier than you think….ask me how many times I figured that out!!!)  The Medium sized flowers are cut in Blushing Bride and the Botanical Gardens Vellum.  THe Embellishment is added with a glue dot. I started by adding the metallic thread (wrap it aound your fingers several times and tack it down with fast fuse.  Pop the Vanilla flower up and add the leaves behind.  Add the medium flowers and finally the embellishment.  Easy and pretty!

Of course when you come up with a great card layout, you have to try it in different color combos!!  From Left to Right I have used:  Blushing Bride, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, and finally Pool Party.  What other colors would you make this in?  I am thinking a pretty orange would be great–maybe Pacific Point, too!
