Welcome to Friday Quickies Techniques and Tips (on a Saturday…but still awesome!) I have an adorable card for you this week! I think you are going to love it, too!  I have a fantastic video that is jam-packed with tips for how to create this card!  It is pretty easy to make–especially once you get all the pieces prepared!

Gather your supplies:

  • 1/2 sheet of Real Red cardstock
  • 3 7/8 x 5 1/8" Pool Party
  • Scraps of Whisper White, Crumb Cake Real Red and Red Glimmer Paper
  • Cookie Cutter Christmas, Christmas Pines (or a snowflake stamp for background), Tin of Tags (or other greeting stamp), One Big Meaning Stamp sets
  • Red, Black Markers
  • Early Espresso, Pool Party, Real Red and Basic Black Pads

To make the Rudolph, punch one reindeer (stamp them upside down to match up with the punch easier!), and two Gingerbread Men (both in Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake Cardstock).  Chop off the head of the Gingerbread men, leaving enough room to adhere to Rudolph's head.

When adhering your chain of 8 reindeer, make sure you only adhere the ears to one another.  Add the hat at he end to the second to last reindeer.

  1. Dena,
I loved this card. I thought it is adorable. I had talked myself out of buying this set…..
but now I will have to make the fort to get it.
Regarding the “change of design” on Santa’s cuffs, it just reminded me of a fireman.
I still think it looks good.

  2. Dena, this card is just too darn cute. I have 2 young god sons who are going to love it!! I think Santa got soot all over his cuffs when he was digging out the coal for those on the naughty list.

  3. A really darling card, Dena. Now I’ll have one more card to add to my stash for the little ones in the family this Christmas. Thanks for sharing.
