A few cards for you

Hi everyone,

Hope you are enjoying a break from the heat and humidity–I had an intake confence with Ella’s teacher yesterday and I was just melting in her classroom—poor kids!!

Here are a few cards for you…

This adorable card is perfect for this time of year–warm and nice!  The stamps are Year after Year and Hugs and Wishes, the colors are really rust, old olive, chocolate chip and more mustard inks, Chocolate chip and more mustard cardstock, more mustard Prints cardstock adn mustard ribbon as well as a brass brad–A great QUICKIE!

This card is another super easy one–it also uses the new prints paper–this time in soft sky.  It uses the stamp sets, Office Accutrement and Hugs and wishes.  The ink is Blue Bayou and the cardstock is Whisper White, SOft Sky, and Blue Bayou. White Grosgrain ribbon is also used.

I love the new papers beacuse they give a great look of dimension with tons of ease…very easy to add a nice touch to your cards!

This beautiful card is made with my favorite set, Priceless, and done by one of the most talented stampers, my friend, Liz.  She used Pretty in Pink with Basic Grey–the new "neutral" color that SU added–I just made a great card using basic grey and Soft SKy–love the soft colors!!

She also added dazzling diamonds glitter–you guys know I am not a big fan of glitter–but this adds a nice touch!!  THe Eyelets are silver (and SOOOOO easy with the Crop-a-dile).  The scallop edge is done with Regal rose cardstock and the slit punch–ask me how!!

The beautiful ribbon is our new Tafeta Basic Gray ribbon—sooooo pretty!!  I think I may need to do a class on this very stamp set!

Also, in big news at the Rekow Household, Ella lost her first tooth!!  VERY exciting–I’ll post pics tomorrow! 🙂
