So I was on the phone with Stampin Up and one of the SAMs (service account managers) told me how close I was to hitting a HUGE SALES GOAL....Just short of $2500 away as of 6pm last night....I had done a workshop the night before and Kris was coming to close her workshop (A HUGE THANK YOU, KRIS and all the ladies who were at her party!!) And I had a class last night with a bunch of people signed up, and then Pam (my dear friend had a catalog workshop and she is closing it today) so I got this CRAZY notion in my head that I might just do it!!!!! So, while I was holding my Brides and Babies Class, I started calling people on my customer list...The ladies at class were so sweet to let me do this...I think they were excited everytime I hung up and proclaimed, YIPPIE in a scary high-pitched voice!!
This morning, I teared up when I opened my email and there was a SUBSTANTIAL order from Joni...I told her I could kiss her in my email back to her (I hope she doesn't think I am totally crazy as I don't know her very well)...so here we are....I am just $907 away as of this minute....and so I had to put my "Oh my gosh" gauge on here for you...I am doing it old school....I am certain there is a fun, easy way to make this on the computer, but I can't do that right now! :)
I just have to say to each of you who have supported me this year: Customers with orders, Downline with participating in my group, Family who supports me all the time, my SAM (and the other SAM's at STampin Up who cheer me on) to my fellow demonstrator friends who are so awesome to me....THANK YOU!! I am so excited to be in this position (actually I am feeling kind of nauseous right about now...it reminds me of when I was waiting to find out if I got my Pink Bag 2 years ago!! Read about it here:
http://drekow.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/07/a-very-special.html
I'll keep you posted...I've got until 2pm (leaving for Andy's Work Awards dinner that is 3 hours away tonight)....Again, thanks so much!!!
So, if you are in need of any products (whether it is just a bottle of adhesive or 10 stamp sets, every single bit helps)...please call or email me to place your order...I'll have a special treat for you as a thank you!!
Hope you have a great day!! I'll keep in touch with my progress!!

I had my Elements of Style class last night and I just have to say we made some really beautiful cards last night! I had a few cards that I had also made up that didn't make the cut, so I wanted to share them with you as I had promised the gals last night!
This pretty card is one I copied based on one I found on our cool Stampin Up Demonstrator Gallery. Colors are Bashful Blue and Night of Navy with Very Vanilla cardstock. SO pretty! I used some navy grosgrain ribbon and the scallop trim punch.
This is a really pretty card that I made based on something a really talented demonstrator, Ranee. I used Kraft cardstock and Versamark for the card base, Baja Breeze (since it is coming back in less than 10 days!!!) and So Saffron with some Old Olive ribbon and Ice square rhinestone brad. LOVE IT!! So pretty, If I can say so!!
This pretty card is another I copied (can you tell I like to copy a lot? I actually did come up with a really cool idea that was totally my own...I'll share later)....anywho...this card was done with So Saffron, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive and Whisper White. The background is done with the Finial Press Embossing Folder and the Big Shot, and the "for you" is from a set called Thankful Thinking and a little White Taffeta and the Button Latte Button are perfect! So pretty!

On to some cards:
This is a pretty card using the Nouveau Chic printed paper plus Friends 24-7 stamp set. The Basic Gray Satin ribbon and the Scallop trim border punch make a SIMPLE but pretty card!
How stinking cute is this? I got the idea for this one from a good demonstrator friend, Kimberly and I tweeked it just a bit. I used the Wonderful Wings Embosslit plus the Scallop Trim border and corner punches. The colors are Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Soft Suede. Stamps are Fine Flourish (still available), Tiny Tags (also still available) and a little Linen Thread. So pretty!!!
This awesome card was made by my friend Kaylene, and I just love how easy it is!! She used the Travel Journal Printed papers and the Sentimental Journal stamp set from the Summer Mini catalog. The Card is made with 2 sheets of 6x6 paper folded in half and then turn the corners down on opposite sides. Glue the back piece together and add an embellishment...the tag punches with button here! LOVE IT!!

Generally I don't get so excited about the weekend, but for some reason I am really excited that it is Friday!! I think it is because there is no kid activities today!! Ugh! :) The summer schedule is worse than the school year (I didn't think that was possible!)
More cards for you!!!
Isn't this card beautiful?! It is one I recieved in a swap--and it is one we are going to make in my Elements of Style class this Monday night....It is pretty easy...Love it! It also uses that really awesome Groomsmen paper that is being discontinued...make sure you get your orders in!!
This is a fun card I recieved from my second upline, Denise. She used the Just Jawing stamp set and I love the cherries! (I bought some yesterday...can't wait to have some!) The cherries have some crystal effects on them to make them shiny! :)
Here is a great card for any color--this one is Rich Razzleberry. The stamps are from the set, Upsy Daisy. Super simple, but so great!!

How pretty is this one? I recieved this one in a swap--and I just love the texture--the paper is the Island Oasis with Tropical Party and a library clip and the words are from the set, Elements of Style (if you like that one, I've got a class on it Monday Night!!) That darn Square lattice texture folder..it is so awesome!
This beautiful card is one I copied from somewhere--the set is a preview of one that will be in the new catalog in a couple of weeks...it is called Awash with Flowers. The colors are Lavander Lace, Certainly Clelery, Apricot Appeal, and Rose Red. The For You is from a cute little set that is retiring called, Thankful Thinking. A little celery satin ribon and a rhinestone brad makes it perfect!

Anyone with a kid under 8 and a nack for the useless skill of rambling off movie lines will know that one....Have you ever seen Finding Nemo? Dory and Marlin are swiming through the jellyfish and Dory is bouncing off the tops of them... :) Okay, you all think I am crazy...I can live with that! :)
Anyway...here are some cards for you to enjoy:
This is a fun card done with the set, July Fourth. The colors are Real Red, Night of Navy and Whispwer white. The 1 1/4 and 1 3/8" circle punches along with the cute ,little star punch (being discontinued!!)
This fun card was done by my friend, Kaylene. She used the awesome set, Sentimental Journey from the mini catalog. The New Embossing folder, square lattice was used, along with a star brad, a clip from the clips assortment, the 1 3/4", 1", and 1 1/4" circle punches plus the spiral punch. The 1" blue stitched ribbon and the Travel Journal printed paper. This is such a great set and paper pack for scrapbooking! I also really like it for masculine cards, like this great one, too!
This beautiful card is one of the ones we are going to be making on Monday at my Elements of Style card class. The class focuses on the stamp set, as well as the various coordinating products! Hope you can join us!! Class is at 7pm. Please RSVP if you'd like to join us!
