I'm super excited about my All Occasion CLass this Tuesday (10am or 7pm) here is one of the fantastic cards we are going to make...hope you can join us..make sure to drop me a line if you are planning on coming!
I am telling you--Gorgeous Grunge is so fantastic a set--you'd be crazy to not to add it to your collection!! Add to that, Tape it! It is another fantastic set--I have both sitting on my desk mounted on blocks and ready to go as I just can't stop using them! They just add fun little touches to almost any card!
The Beautifully Baroque individual stamp is the center of this card. Colors are Soft Sky, Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight. I used the 1 1/4" scallop circle punch along with a jumbo pearl. Very cute and very easy! Plus, I LOVE the color combo!
Stampin Up unveiled a new product while we were at convention last month, and I finally took the plunge to start carving my own stamps! I must admit I was really nervous because it comes with this beautiful slate of rubber full of amazing possibilities and I was determined not to wreck it!
So I've been pinning ideas to my Stampin Up Undefined Board, looking at some of the amazing things that I've seen all over the place and stressing about what I should make. I've been sketching all kinds of stuff and I also realized there is a reason I love stamping so much...I CAN'T DRAW!! PERIOD! (.)
So, long story short, I saw a circle flower much like the one I created (the biggest image) and figured I could probably manage that (until i realized it was a circle...the hardest thing to draw besides a life-like face...sheesh!) Anywho, I did it, stamped it and squeeled! YAY!!!!
Here is what I came up with:
I used the new photopolymer set, Another Thank You stamp set that was just released (and I love it!) Colors (for all my projects) are Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight with Whisper White and Black StazOn.
This one uses a few accessories...Chevron embossing folder (that I cut up), Chalk Talk Framelits, A Dozen Thoughts stamp set and the Dictionary background stamp, I added a couple of scallop circles and a little Bermuda Bay ribbon.
Again, used that new Photopolymer set, Another Thank You. Added a few rhinestones, a 2 3/8" scallop circle and a 1 3/4" circle punches.
I saved the best for last...I really love this one!! I used the Deco Label Framelits and the Modern Label punch plus the Boho Flower Punch and a Rhinestone plus the Another Thank You stamp set. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! I am so proud of myself! :)
I have been having a blast playing with the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set--best yet we got it for free at Convention!! This is a card I made for a recent downline meeting swap. I just love the card if I can say so myself! I used the new Expressions Thinlits from the Holiday Catalog and the Bitty Butterfly punch and punch pack with some bling to really make it fun! I love the striking black against the Naturals White Cardstock with Coastal Cabana, Pear Pizzazz and Tangerine Tango.
Here is another one...I just love it! Tangerine Tango, Soft Sky and Crumb Cake (got that color combo out of the newly renovated Color Coach). Used the Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly and some rhinestones plus vellum, and the Feel Goods greeting set that I just LOVE!
This is a card I've seen in a few places so I thought I'd use some of my hoarded buttons and I added some bling (you can't go wrong with bling) and the greeting is from the set, Happy Day. Colors are Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo. VERY fun!
Hi all, Here is a fun card that I made and you won't believe the background...it is BUBBLE WRAP!! Yup! The next time you get a package with some bubble wrap, resist the temptation to pop those bubbles!!
All that I did was cut a piece of bubble wrap about the size of my card and then ink the bubbles as though they were a background stamp. Stamp your card on them and that is it!! I used the Sketched Birthday stamp set, 2 1/2" circle punch, pennant Die, 1", 1 3/4" and 1 1/4" circle punches. Markers (bermuda bay, so saffron, wisteria wonder, and pear pizzazz) and some glitter!
