So I am on my amazing Founder’s Circle trip ( the retreat trip I earned for being in the top 100 of our company) and I was hanging out with my friend, Natalie who asked me to join her shopping and hanging out with her sister-in-law. They mentioned going to a pawn shop, which I can honestly saw I’ve never set foot in one and so it was decided: we were going! They mentioned that the one we were going to was great for first-timers…whew!!
Well, we scoped it out, browsed a little and I left with a pretty pair of earrings (they remind me of stamps) and a silver chain necklace. I must tell you I felt a bit like I was buying someone’s crushed dream, but it was fun! Also, there were a lot if guns! 🙂
I texted Andy to tell him what I had done that afternoon and all he could say was did I see Chumlee?…..seriously? That is the only response?!?! Sheesh!?

You really got all of that at a pawn shop? Here in Naperville IL, I don’t usually find things that good at pawn shops. I guess I haven’t gotten lucky yet.

Thanks for sharing, and I have to say that I’ve seen my fare share of pawn shops. And I have to say from after checking out http://naperbuyers.com/ and other places. You have to have a very strong personality to be able to work in a pawn shop. Because you’ll probably be having to deal with difficult customers all day.
