Welcome to the Hawaii Grand Vacation Achiever's Blog Hop! You just arrived from Marelle's site and I'm so glad you could stop by The Creativity Cave--my little slice of the Web! :) I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to join so many of my friends on both this blog hop and on this trip!! I can't tell you how excited I am to see the beautiful colors of Hawaii and that is what inspired my card!! I have been on a kick the last few stamping session of stamping in bright , happy colors and this card is kind of the culmination of that! One more thing--a GINORMOUS thank you to each of my customers, downline, family and friends for the support that helped me reach this goal! It was a huge goal of mine last year and I pulled it out at the last minute thanks toa ll that help! I am truly grateful to have the opportunity to go on this amazing trip!
I used my FAVORITE set from the Occasions catalog, combined with the Postcard background stamp (which is on the retiring list) and the Sophisticated Serifs Set. The colors give it a great, tropical feel and I just love how it turned out! I also used the Lovely Lace embossing folder with my versamark pad. I just rubbed the versamark ink on the folder and ran it through my Big Shot on the Bermuda Bay cardstock. The subtle look gives a bit more definition to the background. Hope you like my card! My supplies are listed below.
The awesome part of working so hard for a trip from Stampin Up is that they take good care of us! This morning, my trip documents came in this adorable bag!!
Inside are our tickets, name tags, luggage tags (SQUEE!!!) and a schedule for our trip! How amazing is this!?!! I can't wait to see what is in store for us! Hope you will visit me again!
