Continued Global Design Challenge Awesomeness!

GDP020

As promised, here is day 3 of my Global Design Challenge awesomeness!!  Today I used Kylie's card as inspiration.  I loved the bright colors and was thrilled to find the inspiration for her card came from an adorable beach dress she was wearing (and she had a super cute pic of her drinking what I can only assume was a delightfully tropical beverage!)  You can see her card here.

I just love how happy these colors are together!!  And as I was taking pics of this card in the window…this was my view:

NO THANKS!!  I am much more interested in the lovely sunny summer weather that this card represents! 🙂  Don't get me wrong–I always love a good blizzard–and to be honest I am a teensy bit jealous of the one that hit the East Coast last week.  My Father-in-law got 40" of snow where they live in Virginia.  That sounds devine–it is STAMPING weather–but let's get back to my Southern Hemisphere Summer-inspired card:

I popped up each layer of flower and attached the greeting directly to the cardstock.

  1. I just LOVE this card! I made my own using your color combo and an old sizzix flower die. A perfect card IMHO; loads of color, a clean and graphic feel, and not too many layers.

  2. Dena – you are quite amazing! These colors work perfectly as a backdrop for your white flower. What a vibrant and fun card! Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Case the Designer (Connie Collins) Challenge at Global Design Project.
