Welcome to the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge! This week we are making cards that are actually kind of hard: Kids Birthday Cards! I think the biggest reason is that they are cards you want to make (because you don't want to buy them) but you also don't want to use your best embellishments on a card that a kid is likely not to appreciate--let's be honest--they want the gift that goes with it! :)
Gather Your Supplies:
1/2 Sheet Whisper White
3 strips of 1 1/2 x 3 3/4" in Old Olive, Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight
Scrap of Whisper White
No Bones About it
Old Olive, Pacific Point, and Daffodil Delight Ink pads
Dimensionals and Fast Fuse
I think the card I created is SUPER easy, and SUPER quick, and SUPER simple! Those are words I can work with! So I went for No Bones About It--because dinosaurs are always a kids' best friend! (Did you listen to my expert AKA, daughter in the background?!)
Of course the inside has to be fun! Just stamp each dinosaur and add the greeting!
I think it turned out great! The color block layout of this card is adorable and you can certainly change out colors and images for a completely different look!
SO, I HAD to do an adorable card for girls, too! I love this set: Just Keep Swimming! It is so sweet-and it is also on sale on the Retiring List! The set is only guaranteed available through May 22nd. So this card is SUPER easy and Quick (again, my fav!)

So I stamped on the adorable little label, and popped it up on the notecard with the sentiment. So sweet and So Quick!!!

Welcome to the WWYS Challenge! This week we are working with a fabulous stamp set, Beautiful You! I have to admit, this is a set I was not excited about when I first saw it, but it continues to grow on me and one of my very favorite parts are the amazing sentiments in this set. SO, that was what I chose to focus on with this weeks project!
Gather Your Supplies:
1/2 Sheet of Pool Party
3 5/8 x 5 1/8" Bermuda Bay
1 1/4 x 3 3/4" Cupcakes and Carousels DSP (4 each)
Scrap of Very Vanilla
Scraps of Silver Glimmer
Vanilla Ribbon
Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Early Espresso Ink Pads
The sentiment is easy to ink up half with Bermuda Bay and Half with Early Espresso Ink pads--I think you get a much better impression than if you use Markers to ink it up with two colors.
Just to jazz up the inside, I stamped one of the care free ladies in Pool Party and added the sentiment in Bermuda Bay
I really love how this turned out--and I think you can certainly do this card with various color combinations (there are several you can do with this set of DSP--and it is on sale for 40% off during our retirement list promotion right now, so stock up!

Our theme this month is Men are our Muse (AKA Masculine Cards). Man cards are always a very popular theme as these can be challenging cards to create. I have a couple of awesome projects to share with you today that I hope will inspire you!
My first card uses the stamp set, One Wild Ride! This is a FANTASTIC set because obviously motorcycles are very popular for men and secondly the textures are amazing in this set! Check out my video on incorporaing all these textures in this card--it is really easy!
Of course, you have to make the inside fun! I think this card would work as a Birthday, Anniversary, or a Retirement card. I love the versatility the word CONGRATULATIONS offers-it could be for anything! :)

The card is pretty easy to create--just arrange the stamping and you are done. The Hexagon folder is AH-MAZ-ING! I love how versatile it is!!
This second card is super quick as well--and is also featured in the video above. Just some DSP, a few stamps and punching with a little texture (from my BFF Hexagon Dynamic folder!) and you have a fantastic card! This is also pretty versatile because it could be used for all kinds of stuff--I left the inside blank as you could personalize it for any occasion you may need--Thank You, Congrats, Birthday, Sorry I broke the dishwasher--you know--whatever! ;)

Welcome to Friday Quickies!!! I am so excited to be stamping with you today--I mean I am every day but I LOVE today's projects because I have something for everyone with this Oldie but Goodie Technique--whether you are feeling fancy or lazy! ;) Emboss Resist is a technique that has been around forever--you simply stamp an image (usually bolder images work well) and emboss in clear or white powder on white (or light colored paper) and then apply ink over the top. The image resists the ink and creates a fun look! I have two projects in the video for you!
Stamp and Heat Emboss the Flower image three times on the Watercolor paper. Color each on in a different color with aqua painters--darkest toward the center, lightest at the tip. You can totally go outside the lines, too! Once dry (or at least mostly dry), "spritz" with coordinating color on the aquapainter over that colored flower.

Add a Tassel on the ribbon and pop up onto card!

Large Letter Framelits
Sponge the Lemon Lime Twist over the DSP and adhere the "HUGS" die cut from the Pop of Pink Printed paper. SUPER fun!!!!
Decorate with some flowers stamped from the Falling Flowers Set and cut with the coordinating framelits. Welcome to the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge! I hope you will consider playing along with us this week! Our theme is Mother's day Cards! I love this theme--and while I was tempted to do the typical flower-y card, I opted for the Eastern Palace bundle-I was playing with it today and I am so in love I just had to use it!!

1/2 sheet (4 1/4 x 11) Crumb Cake Cardstock
Eastern Palace Premiere Bundle
Night of Navy, Island Indigo, Pool Party Cardstock scraps
1" and 2" circle punches
Layering Circles Framelits
White Perfect Accents
Whisper White Ink
I LOVE these framelits!! In fact, tomorrow I will have a FB Live posted to my blog (from Monday) showing some awesome things you can do with them!! Today, I die cut the "flower" the "ring" and one of the centers all together on my Crumb Cake Cardstock. I then stamped the little dotted image in Whisper White ink--I actually covered the flower with a duplicate one I had die cut (and snipped out of the background) to use as a mask so I didn't accidentally catch any of the ink on the petals.
The circles are positioned and glued to one another to line up with the die cut designs and ten glued to the inside of the card. To finish it off, I stamped the sentiment and added a perfect white accent in the center--SO PRETTY!
Here is an alternate color combo (from the Video). I like how bright and happy this one turned out! :) Colors include Pink pirouette, Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral.
Inside of card:
The inside is the flower image stamped twice with "Happy Mother's Day" on top and the 1" circle in Calypso Coral cardstock.

Scrap of Cardstock
White Baker's Twine
Clear Wink of Stella
Dimensionals
Tombow Liquid Glue
glue dots
Night of Navy ink pad
Start by die cutting a tag in Crumb Cake plus a second tag with Whisper White (it will be used as a guide--die cut the butterflies in the white tag at the same time). I also die cut the butterflies in Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party.
Line the two Tags up, and glue the butterflies through the openings so they will be spaced nicely on the crumb cake tag. Use liquid glue to adhere.
Pop up onto card with the cardstock strips adhered.
Spritz with Clear Wink of Stella.
