Creative Inking Blog Hop: Bundle Extravaganza

Welcome to The Creative Inking Blog Hop!  Whether this is your first stop or you just joined us from Lori's Blog, I am so glad that you stopped by!  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE our theme this month, which is Bundle Extravaganza!!!  Bundles are my FAV!!  Coordinating products at a discount? YES, PLEASE! I decided to go with the Grown with Love Bundle.  I knew as soon as I saw it, I was in love–and the framelits are what make it even better!!!

My card showcases a couple of watercoloring techniques that I absolutely adore: Faux Watercoloring (I first introduced this technique about a year ago.  You can see it here.) and more recently I showed another technique: Doodle Flower Watercoloring.  You can see that one here.

Gather Your Supplies:

•  1/2 Sheet Berry Burst
• 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" Watercolor Paper
• 3 5/8 x 4 7/8" Night of Navy Cardstock
• Aquapainters
• Grown with Love Bundle (set and framelits) and Special Celebrations stamp set
• Garden Trellis Embossing FOlder
• Journaling Pens
• Berry Burst Crinkle Ribbon
• Pool Party, Smoky Slate, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Night of Navy, Peekaboo Peach, Bermuda Bay ink pads

Tips: Make sure your watercoloring is completely dry before stamping sentiment or adding the journaling pen doodles.

Stamp off Watering Can before stamping on watercolor paper and doing Faux Watercolor Technique for a softer look

Be sure to "ground" your watering can with a little Pool Party so it is not just floating in air! 🙂
